Irregular Verbs: 3 Forms
Master all three forms of English irregular verbs — base, past simple and past participle — in a few minutes a day.
175 verbs, hand-picked by real-world frequency and split into three levels: Core (the 53 verbs you can’t live without), Intermediate (65) and Advanced (57, for polish and bragging rights).
How it works
- Smart reviews: a spaced-repetition schedule shows you each verb right before you’d forget it. Answer correctly and the interval grows; slip up and the verb comes back sooner.
- Three difficulties: pick the right form (Easy), type both forms (Normal), or complete a real sentence (Hard).
- Wrong answers return at the end of the session until you get them right.
Keep the fire burning
- Daily streak with freezes — miss a day and a freeze saves your run.
- Combos reward accuracy inside a session.
- Boss rounds: seal each chapter of 10 verbs with a no-mistakes challenge.
- Blitz: a 60-second speed round. Beat your record, discover new verbs.
- Collection: watch 175 verb cards light up as you master them.
No strings attached. No account. No ads. No tracking. Everything stays on your device.
Built for learners at A2–C1 levels, tutors who want a warm-up tool, and anyone tired of forgetting whether it’s “swam” or “swum”.

Questions, problems or ideas? Email [email protected] and we answer every message, usually within two business days. Please tell us which device you are using and what happened.
Which mode should I start with?
Easy lets you pick both forms from four options, Normal has you type them from memory, and Hard asks you to complete a real sentence. Start on Easy; verbs only count as mastered once you can produce them in Normal or Hard.
Why is the Boss tile locked?
A boss round opens once every verb in that chapter of ten has been answered correctly twice — usually after about two sessions. It is a bonus challenge, and the rest of the app is available from the first launch.
How do streaks and freezes work?
Finish at least one session a day to keep the streak. Each freeze covers a single missed day and is spent automatically, so two freezes in stock mean you can skip two days. You earn one every seven streak days and for beating a boss.
There is no pronunciation sound
Check Settings → Pronunciation inside the app, then the device volume. The app speaks with the system voice and plays even when the phone is on silent.
Where is my progress stored?
Only on your device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, so deleting the app deletes the progress — there is no account to restore it from.
Can I turn the reminders off?
Yes. Settings → Reminders lets you pick the time, pause them for a week or switch them off. They also stop by themselves if you take a longer break from the app.
Does it need the internet?
No. The app works fully offline and makes no network requests at all — you can verify that in Airplane Mode.
